McCreadie, 34, hustled his Sweeteners Plus Rocket to the front quickly, advancing from the fourth starting spot to the lead by lap 17. But he lost the top spot to Clanton’s turn-two slider on lap 35 and spent the remainder of the distance battling to secure a podium finish.
Owens drove by McCreadie for second with a powerful outside move on lap 45, but McCreadie regained the position on the final circuit when he snuck by Clanton. He conceded that Owens was the class of the field.

The Watertown, N. Y., native blistered a field of the nation’s top late model drivers at Saturday night’s 16 th annual Comp Cams Topless 100 before approximately 11, 000 at Batesville Motor Speedway, leading all 100 laps to take his first victory in one of the sport’s crown jewel events.

No driver authored a more exciting drive than the 34-year-old McCreadie, who discovered that there was indeed an outside lane and used it to charge forward. He moved his Sweeteners Plus Rocket by Knight for fourth place heading to the white flag.
“It’s just sometimes mind over matter,” said McCreadie, who qualified poorly but came alive in the feature. “We struggled all night long with the car. Finally we hit on something.
“I owe it to Al Stevens, Tommy Grecco, Vic Coffey, Johnny Cocco and ‘Frog’ – everybody who was on this deal. We struggled all night, and finally when you throw enough things at it you’re going to get lucky and that’s what we did.
“The long green flag hurt me at the end,” added T-Mac. “I needed more restarts. I wish I had done my job as a driver earlier to get it further up so we wouldn’t have had to work so hard, but it is what it is.”

Tim McCreadie reached Victory Lane in World of Outlaws Late Model Series competition for the first time in nearly two years on Friday night, powering to a convincing victory in the Arrow Express ‘Six Nations 50’ at Ohsweken Speedway.
The 34-year-old from Watertown, N.Y., slid underneath Shane Clanton of Locust Grove, Ga., for the lead on lap 20 and never looked back. He sailed away from the pack to defeat Clanton by 4.901 seconds – a full straightaway margin – in the WoO LMS ‘Great Northern Tour’ event, which was postponed one day by rain.

After starting the race in 13th spot the former World of Outlaw champ Tim McCreadie pitted for a new right front tire after the first yellow. McCreadie restarted the race at the tail of the 27 car field then proceeded to drive his #39 Sweeteners Plus back towards the front ending the night in 11th spot.

After running as high as second, T-Mac finished his super speedway debut at Talladega in the 15th spot. T-Mac started the ARCA RE/MAX 250 in 23rd place and drove his Camping World/RCR Chevy to the front of the pack. Several late race yellows slowed the field at the Talladega Super Speedway.

Perseverance and teamwork were the keys to the team’s 13th top-15 finish as Tim McCreadie and Team AutoZone bounced back from being a lap down to cross the finish line 14th in the Busch Series 250 at Gateway International Raceway.
The 14th-place finish was strong enough to keep Team AutoZone in the fourth position in the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series owners’ championship point standings. McCreadie, racing just two days after finishing 11th in his NASCAR Grand National West Series debut at Phoenix International Raceway, reached third on lap 52 after starting 19th. He couldn’t threaten Bloomquist and Madden, however, and might have lost third trying to keep up with the leaders.
“I’m not sure what happened, by after that last restart (on lap 84) I sort of died a little bit,” said McCreadie. “I was trying to move around too much to try to gain an advantage, when I probably should’ve just tried to get would I could and ride around.
“I think it cost me third, but if you don’t win, what does it matter anyway?”
